A large stainless built-in gas grill head set into a stone island on a sunny patio, its hood raised to show three burners glowing with even blue flame under clean stainless grates, the knob panel below with knobs, the access doors under the grill closed, plants softly blurred behind, daylight, seasonless.

Twin Eagles grills,
specifically.

Twin Eagles grills are designed and made in Southern California and now sold under Dometic, as the C Series and Eagle One gas grills and a 36-inch Wood Fired Pellet Grill. Every Twin Eagles gas grill lights from hot-surface igniters inside the flashtubes, and the Eagle One adds lit knobs that report each zone's heat.

The Twin Eagles lineup

What is particular
to Twin Eagles.

We service Twin Eagles C Series gas grills (TEBQ30 to TEBQ54), the Eagle One TE1BQ42 and TE1BQ54, and the TEPG36 pellet grill, built into an island or set on a Twin Eagles grill base. The pellet grill has its own base and controller, so it is diagnosed apart from the gas grills.

Glow igniters inside the flashtubes

Pushing a knob in should make the igniter inside its flashtube glow before the knob is turned. Twin Eagles traces a dark igniter to the 120V GFCI supply, the knob microswitch and the fuse in the transformer.

A pellet grill with three inserts

The pellet grill runs with a vaporizer plate, a sear plate with briquettes or a charcoal tray, and its controller behaves differently with each. We ask which insert was in when the trouble started.

A concealed rotisserie with an infrared burner

C Series and Eagle One rotisseries hide the motor in the grill and pair it with an infrared rotisserie burner. A noisy rotisserie is often the cog assembly, which Twin Eagles treats with penetrating oil before any part is changed.

Eagle One knobs that read the heat

Eagle One bezels move from blue to yellow, orange and red as each zone warms, and a Temp Track bar shows the hood average. Uneven colors across the knobs are an early sign of a partly blocked burner.

Parts

Manuals and spec sheets for each Twin Eagles model sit on the brand's documentation page, which makes matching burners, igniters and grates straightforward. Eagle One bezels and the pellet grill touchscreen are specific to those models.

Repair or replace

Twin Eagles covers its stainless main burners and hex grates for life, so igniter, valve and rotisserie repairs are nearly always worthwhile. On the pellet grill, a feed or temperature problem is usually a part-level repair rather than a reason to replace it.

Questions about
Twin Eagles grills.

Why won't my Twin Eagles igniter glow?
Twin Eagles lists three checks: the grill is on a live 120V GFCI outlet, the knob microswitch is making contact, and the fuse in the transformer is intact. The first is yours; the other two are a visit.
Can I burn charcoal in a Twin Eagles gas grill?
Only with the Twin Eagles charcoal tray, model TECT. The manual rules out charcoal in the grill any other way.
Is popping normal when Twin Eagles burners light?
Twin Eagles calls a popping sound normal when the burners are first turned on. Popping that continues while the burners run is worth a check for blocked ports.
Why does my Twin Eagles pellet grill struggle to hold low heat in winter?
Twin Eagles says that below 50 degrees outside, settings under 200 degrees can be hard to hold. A slightly higher setting on cold days is its answer.
