What LOW HEAT
actually means.

The Twin Eagles controller watches the grill temperature against the target. When it keeps falling, the Low Heat Alarm opens a warning that points first at the pellet supply, then at a firepot choked with ash.

What to do when LOW HEAT shows on the grill

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Twin Eagles's own guidance for LOW HEAT on its grills. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Keep the hood closed, check the hopper and top it up with dry pellets.

02

Tap Exit to clear the warning and watch whether the temperature recovers.

03

If it keeps dropping, shut the grill down, let it cool completely, clear the firepot and its air holes, then restart; book a visit if LOW HEAT returns with a full hopper and a clean firepot.

What not to do

LOW HEAT is not a gas warning or a burner report; this grill burns wood pellets. It also does not mean the probe is wrong, since the alarm reacts to the grill temperature falling, not to the food.

Questions
about LOW HEAT.

Can I clear LOW HEAT myself?
Keep the hood closed, check the hopper and top it up with dry pellets. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my Twin Eagles pellet grill show LOW HEAT with a full hopper?
Pellets can bridge in the hopper or the firepot can fill with ash so air cannot reach the fire. Once the grill is cold, clear the firepot and its holes and stir the pellets before restarting.
Can cold weather cause LOW HEAT on a Twin Eagles pellet grill?
Twin Eagles says that below 50 degrees outside the grill may struggle to hold settings under 200 degrees. A higher target on cold days avoids the alarm.
Do damp pellets trigger LOW HEAT on a Twin Eagles?
Wet or poor pellets burn badly and the temperature falls. Twin Eagles asks for dry, additive-free cooking pellets stored in a sealed container.

Still showing LOW HEAT?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code copied exactly, the model and serial from the rating label, and a word on whether the grill still lights, heats or feeds pellets. With those three the office can match the likely part to your grill the same day.
