What to do when Temp Track LEDs shows on the grill

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Twin Eagles's own guidance for Temp Track LEDs on its grills. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Close the hood and preheat until Temp Track reaches the color you want.

02

Read it with the hood shut; with the hood open it no longer reflects the cooking heat.

03

If Temp Track stays low on high after 15 minutes, check the gas supply and book a visit if it does not improve.

It usually turns into pellet grill auger and controller repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

Temp Track does not measure the grates, which Twin Eagles notes can reach 900 degrees or more. A dark Temp Track with lit bezels points to the display, not to the burners.

Questions
about Temp Track LEDs.

Can I clear Temp Track LEDs myself?
Close the hood and preheat until Temp Track reaches the color you want. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why is my Eagle One Temp Track only showing yellow after preheating?
The grill is not reaching mid heat. Check that the knobs are on high, the hood is closed and, on propane, that the tank is not low.
Does the Eagle One Temp Track work with the hood open?
Twin Eagles describes it as the average temperature with the hood closed. Open, the reading falls quickly.
Why does my Twin Eagles sear hotter than Temp Track shows?
Temp Track tops out at 600 degrees, while the cooking surface can pass 900. The bar is a guide to hood heat, not grate heat.

Still showing Temp Track LEDs?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code copied exactly, the model and serial from the rating label, and a word on whether the grill still lights, heats or feeds pellets. With those three the office can match the likely part to your grill the same day.
