What Knob bezel yellow, orange or red
actually means.
Each Eagle One bezel reports the heat in its own zone. Twin Eagles puts yellow at about 130 to 300 degrees F, orange at 300 to 450 and red from 450 up, so you can see which zones are hot without opening the hood.

What to do when Knob bezel yellow, orange or red shows on the grillKind of codeTemperature and probes
A probe is sending the controller a reading it cannot trust, or no reading at all: the grill's own temperature sensor coated in smoke and grease, its lead pinched or melted, or a meat probe unplugged, wet or reading far outside what any cook box could reach. The grill then overshoots, stalls or shuts down to be safe. Wiping the sensor once the grill is cold and reseating the probe in its jack are reasonable steps; a sensor that still reads wrong is a visit.

Jammed augers, dead hot rods, weak combustion fans, lying probes and failed controllers on pellet grills, traced and replaced with the maker's parts.
Shows up asGrill Error Code on a Pellet Controller or Digital Panel
A grill error code shows as letters and numbers on a pellet grill controller, a flashing light on a digital control panel, or an alert in the maker's app paired with the grill.

Use the colors to compare zones and set up direct and indirect cooking.
Allow 15 minutes on high with the hood closed before judging a zone that stays yellow.
If one zone stays blue or yellow while its neighbors turn red on the same setting, book a visit to check that burner and its gas flow.

What not to do
The color is a relative guide, not an exact thermometer. It also does not show the knob setting; the flame-intensity LEDs beside the knob do that.
