What Warning icon
actually means.
Broil King's pellet controllers do not number their problems. Instead, one warning icon lights for an extreme temperature swing, and the manual lists what can be behind it: a fire in the grill, a flame that died because the pellets ran low, an auger that stopped feeding, or an electrical problem such as an open circuit or a failed motor or fan.

What to do when Warning icon shows on the grillKind of codeTemperature and probes
A probe is sending the controller a reading it cannot trust, or no reading at all: the grill's own temperature sensor coated in smoke and grease, its lead pinched or melted, or a meat probe unplugged, wet or reading far outside what any cook box could reach. The grill then overshoots, stalls or shuts down to be safe. Wiping the sensor once the grill is cold and reseating the probe in its jack are reasonable steps; a sensor that still reads wrong is a visit.
Usually leads toPellet grill auger and controller repair
Jammed augers, dead hot rods, weak combustion fans, lying probes and failed controllers on pellet grills, traced and replaced with the maker's parts.
Shows up asGrill Error Code on a Pellet Controller or Digital Panel
A grill error code shows as letters and numbers on a pellet grill controller, a flashing light on a digital control panel, or an alert in the maker's app paired with the grill.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Broil King's own guidance for Warning icon on its grills. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Go to the grill as soon as the icon lights, as Broil King asks, and unplug it at the outlet if anything looks wrong.
If there are flames in the grease tray or up through the grates, switch the grill off, unplug it and close the lid; never use water, and call 911 if the fire spreads.
If the grill is cold instead, look in the hopper: an empty or near-empty hopper points to a flame that went out for lack of fuel.
Once the grill is cool, book a visit if the hopper was full and nothing was burning, so the auger, fan and hot rod circuits can be tested.

What not to do
The icon is not the check mark, which only means a meat probe has reached its target. It is also not a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth warning; those have their own icons that simply light when the grill is connected.

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code copied exactly, the model and serial from the rating label, and a word on whether the grill still lights, heats or feeds pellets. With those three the office can match the likely part to your grill the same day.
