Questions
about - - - (PROBE window).

Can I clear - - - (PROBE window) myself?
Unplug the probe with heat-resistant gloves and let it cool. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my Fire Magic probe show dashes when it pokes through the meat?
A tip sticking out of the food sits in grill air that is far hotter than the meat. Fire Magic warns that this damages the probe, so keep the tip in the thickest part.
Can I wash a Fire Magic meat probe?
Under running water, yes, but Fire Magic says not to submerge it or put it in a dishwasher, and to dry it fully before use. Water in the probe can also give odd readings.
Why is the PROBE window blank on my Fire Magic?
The probe area lights only when a probe is plugged into the jack on the right side of the panel. Blank without a probe is normal.

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code copied exactly, the model and serial from the rating label, and a word on whether the grill still lights, heats or feeds pellets. With those three the office can match the likely part to your grill the same day.
