What Knob LEDs: 9 lit at HI, 1 lit at LOW
actually means.

Each AIPG main burner knob has a bezel that lights with the grill. Turning the knob to HI lights nine LEDs; turning on toward LOW drops to a single LED. A top marker points up when the burner is off.

What to do when Knob LEDs: 9 lit at HI, 1 lit at LOW shows on the grill

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Alfresco's own guidance for Knob LEDs: 9 lit at HI, 1 lit at LOW on its grills. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Use the LED count to set matching heat across zones instead of guessing from the knob position.

02

If no LEDs show, turn on the light switch, which also lights the knobs, panel and display.

03

If one knob shows lights but its burner does not respond, turn it off, wait five minutes and book a visit if it happens again.

Cleared?

The code is gone from the controller, the grill climbs to its set heat and holds it through a full cook, the pellets keep dropping and the probe readings stay believable, all without a new part. If the same code comes back within a week, or after the next rain, mention it when you book.

What not to do

The LED count is the knob position, not a temperature reading. The zone temperatures come from the display, and a burner can show nine LEDs and still be slow to heat on a cold day.

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

Nothing on the grill has failed; the controller is showing a state it was put in on purpose. A shutdown cycle keeps the fan running to burn off the last pellets before the grill goes quiet, a keep-warm setting holds the cook box low, a demo mode lights the display without feeding fuel, and a pairing screen waits for a phone to connect. No part is needed; the button sequence in the manual, or simply letting the cycle finish, returns it to normal.

Questions
about Knob LEDs: 9 lit at HI, 1 lit at LOW.

Can I clear Knob LEDs: 9 lit at HI, 1 lit at LOW myself?
Use the LED count to set matching heat across zones instead of guessing from the knob position.
Why are my Alfresco AIPG knob lights off?
The knob bezels light with the light switch, which also runs the panel, display and hood lights. Check that switch and the power before anything else.
Does one LED mean the AIPG burner is almost out?
No. One LED is the LOW setting. The burner is on, just at its lowest.
Can I change the color of the AIPG knob lights?
Yes. Two buttons under the right side of the bullnose change the color and brightness of the panel, knob and display lights.

Still showing Knob LEDs: 9 lit at HI, 1 lit at LOW?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code copied exactly, the model and serial from the rating label, and a word on whether the grill still lights, heats or feeds pellets. With those three the office can match the likely part to your grill the same day.
