What Igniter keeps glowing while the burner runs
actually means.
The AIPG lights its burners with hot-surface igniters that go from black to red. Unlike a spark system, they stay on as long as the burner is on, so the burner relights on its own if the flame goes out.

What to do when Igniter keeps glowing while the burner runs shows on the grillKind of codeMode, not a failure
Nothing on the grill has failed; the controller is showing a state it was put in on purpose. A shutdown cycle keeps the fan running to burn off the last pellets before the grill goes quiet, a keep-warm setting holds the cook box low, a demo mode lights the display without feeding fuel, and a pairing screen waits for a phone to connect. No part is needed; the button sequence in the manual, or simply letting the cycle finish, returns it to normal.

Leave the glow alone; it is meant to be there while the burner runs.
Shows up asGrill Error Code on a Pellet Controller or Digital Panel
A grill error code shows as letters and numbers on a pellet grill controller, a flashing light on a digital control panel, or an alert in the maker's app paired with the grill.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Alfresco's own guidance for Igniter keeps glowing while the burner runs on its grills. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Leave the glow alone; it is meant to be there while the burner runs.
If a burner does not light within seconds of the glow, turn it off and wait five minutes before trying again.
If an igniter never glows, check the power cord and the GFCI, and book a visit if power is fine.
Cleared?
The code is gone from the controller, the grill climbs to its set heat and holds it through a full cook, the pellets keep dropping and the probe readings stay believable, all without a new part. If the same code comes back within a week, or after the next rain, mention it when you book.
What not to do
A glowing igniter during cooking is not a burner running too hot or a wiring problem. What matters is an igniter that never glows, which Alfresco says to check starting with the power supply.
