A shutdown cycle keeps the fan running to burn off the last pellets before the grill goes quiet, a keep-warm setting holds the cook box low, a demo mode lights the display without feeding fuel, and a pairing screen waits for a phone to connect. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Tap the yellow LOCK button in the bottom left corner three times in quick succession. 02 Check that the button has turned gray with an open lock before trying other controls. 03 If the screen still ignores taps when unlocked, turn the grill off and on and book a visit if it continues. ### Cleared? The code is gone from the controller, the grill climbs to its set heat and holds it through a full cook, the pellets keep dropping and the probe readings stay believable, all without a new part. If the same code comes back within a week, or after the next rain, mention it when you book. ### What not to do A locked screen is not a frozen controller; it is the normal start-up state.
