# Grill brands, find yours fast.

Find the name on the lid, the control panel, the hopper or the rating label, and open its page: that maker's grills, the repairs our technicians do on them most often, and any controller codes we could confirm in the maker's own manuals.

## Find your make, A to Z.

23 makes, each against the 4 grill types this site covers. Open your make for its own page.

Make Built-in Cart Infrared Pellet Code pages

[**Alfresco** luxury](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/alfresco/) Built-in Cart Infrared Pellet **5** pages

[**American Outdoor Grill** mainstream](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/american-outdoor-grill/) Built-in Cart American Outdoor Grill publishes no codes, and its grills have no display. The signals are the click of the spark at each valve and, on L-Series models, lights that stay dark when the power supply has gone into protection mode.

[**Artisan** premium](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/artisan/) Built-in Cart Infrared Artisan grills publish no error codes. The manual asks you to listen instead: a rapid snapping when the igniter button is pressed means the spark works, and silence points to the 9-volt battery.

[**Blaze** mainstream](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/blaze/) Built-in Cart Infrared Blaze publishes no error codes for its grills, including the LTE PRO with its digital temperature screen. What it shows instead is light: knobs that glow red while gas flows on the LTE+ and LTE PRO, and a power button that turns red when the LTE PRO panel is switched on.

[**Broil King** mainstream](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/broil-king/) Built-in Cart Infrared Pellet **3** pages

[**Bull** mainstream](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/bull/) Built-in Cart Infrared Bull grills have plain knobs and publish no error codes or display messages. The warnings Bull itself describes are sounds and flames: a hum or jet noise when a burner lights, flame near the knobs, and a flame stronger at the back of the grill than the front.

[**Capital** premium](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/capital/) Capital's current US site lists only indoor cooking appliances, so no grill type is sold new under the Capital name. Capital's current US site lists only indoor cooking appliances, so no grill type is sold new under the Capital name. Capital grills have no display and publish no codes. The one signal the manual describes is the igniter glow, which should appear when a knob is turned on and stay lit while the burner runs.

[**Coyote** mainstream](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/coyote/) Built-in Cart Infrared Pellet **6** pages

[**DCS** luxury](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/dcs/) Built-in Cart Infrared Pellet **2** pages

[**Delta Heat** premium](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/delta-heat/) Built-in Cart Infrared Delta Heat grills have knobs and a hood thermometer only and publish no error codes. The manual's troubleshooting starts from what you see or hear: no spark, a yellow flame with a gas smell, low heat on HI, or a thermometer that will not climb.

[**Fire Magic** premium](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/fire-magic/) Built-in Cart Infrared Pellet **8** pages

[**Hestan** luxury](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/hestan/) Built-in Cart Infrared Hestan grills have no display and no published codes. The manual asks you to read the igniter glow and the infrared burners, which should shine evenly red on HIGH.

[**Kalamazoo** luxury](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/kalamazoo/) Built-in Cart Pellet **4** pages

[**Lynx** luxury](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/lynx/) Built-in Cart Infrared **15** pages

[**Napoleon** premium](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/napoleon/) Built-in Cart Infrared Pellet Napoleon gas grills have knobs and no display, so they show no error codes. The one light signal in the manual is the knob backlight, which glows red for a burner that is on and blue for one that is off.

[**Sedona by Lynx** premium](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/sedona-by-lynx/) Built-in Cart Infrared Sedona grills have no display or coded lights; Lynx describes the signal as sound, a rapid clicking with a visible spark at each electrode when a knob is pushed in. No clicking points to the 9-volt battery, the power or the wiring.

[**Solaire** premium](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/solaire/) Built-in Cart Infrared Solaire grills have no display and publish no codes. Solaire's own troubleshooting works from what you can see and hear instead: a yellow or orange flame with a gas smell, burners that pop, and a spark you can watch jump at the igniter tip.

[**TEC** premium](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/tec/) Built-in Cart Infrared TEC grills have push-button igniters and knobs and no electronic display, so there are no codes to read. What TEC's own troubleshooting relies on is sound and heat: a burner that pops or sounds like a motor boat, and a grill that stays cool after a tank change.

[**Twin Eagles** luxury](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/twin-eagles/) Built-in Cart Infrared Pellet **10** pages

[**Viking** luxury](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/viking/) Built-in Cart Infrared Viking publishes no codes for its 5 Series grills, which have no display. The signal it asks you to read is the igniter: it should glow while the knob is held in, and one that stays dark is inspected with a small mirror beneath its shield.

[**Weber** mainstream](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/weber/) Built-in Cart Infrared Pellet **15** pages

[**Wolf** luxury](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/wolf/) Built-in Cart Infrared Wolf lists no codes for its outdoor grills, which have no display. The thing to watch is the hot-surface igniter glowing when a knob is pushed in; the LED knob lights are only lighting.

[**XO** premium](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/brands/xo/) Built-in Cart Infrared XO grills show no codes, and the blue knob LEDs are lighting only. XO describes what you see and hear instead, such as a whoosh from an infrared burner or a yellow flame.

## Not every grill breaks the same way.

A built-in gas grill head sits in a counter cutout on its own gas line; a freestanding gas grill rolls on a cart, usually with a propane tank below; an infrared grill puts a ceramic or mesh burner under the grate for fierce, direct heat; and a pellet or hybrid grill feeds wood pellets into a firepot with an auger and a fan, or lets charcoal share the firebox with gas. Which one is yours?

[All grill types](https://bbqgrillrepair.center/types/)

### Built-in gas grill

A stainless grill head dropped into a masonry or steel island, fed by a tank or the house gas line, with its burners, knobs and lid working in open weather.

### Freestanding gas grill

A gas grill on its own cart with wheels, side shelves and a propane tank below, or a hose to a house gas outlet, rolled into place on the patio.

### Infrared grill

Grills that cook with radiant heat: ceramic or mesh infrared burners, sear stations beside the main burners, and radiant glass or emitter plates over a gas flame.

### Pellet and hybrid grill

Pellet grills with a hopper, auger and electric igniter under a digital controller, and hybrids that burn gas, charcoal or wood in the same firebox.

## Questions about the makes.

### My grill brand has no page yet. Do you still take it on?

Very possibly. We add grill makes a few at a time, so a name missing today is usually one we have not written up yet. Put the make, model and serial in the notes and we check that burners, igniters or valves can be found before anyone drives out.

### Does the brand decide whether a grill is worth fixing?

Less than people expect. How thick the stainless is, how long the grill has stood in salt air or rain, and whether the maker still ships parts for that line count for more. Burners and igniters for the big grill makers usually arrive quickly; a valve manifold for a discontinued head can take much longer.

### Where do grill makers put the rating label?

On a built-in grill head it is usually a tag that slides out under the control panel or a plate inside the lower front; on a cart grill inside the cart door or on the frame; on a pellet grill on the hopper. A phone photo beats copying it by hand, because one wrong digit orders a burner for another model.

### Do some grill brands share parts?

Some do. Makes under one owner, such as Lynx and Sedona, or grills built in the same factory under different badges, often share burners, igniters and valves. The serial on the rating label, not the name on the lid, decides the part.
